Global Sales Manager (Fulfillment) - Remote in Chile

The Role

Global Trade Manager will act as a key liaison between local suppliers and Tridge HQ. As the local representative, Global Trade Manager will deliver our mission by building strong relationships with local suppliers through introducing Tridge and laying the foundation for successful trade deals. Global Trade Manager will collaborate with Tridge HQ daily to fully align the tasks and strategize ways to build and manage a pipeline of prospective suppliers. 

The performance of Global Trade Manager will be evaluated by set targets and assessed based on results regularly. A high level of ownership, a result-oriented performance, and a genuine willingness to help suppliers export successfully through Tridge are the keys to this position's success.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

• Explore local products demonstrating robust export potential.
• Continuously monitor market developments and translate opportunities into effective commercial actions.
• Expand and diversify the supplier network to broaden the spectrum of available products from the region.
• Foster long-term connections with current suppliers and oversee key account management.
• Attain sales growth while meeting prescribed revenue and margin objectives.
• Take charge of autonomous commercial negotiations with local exporters, ensuring optimal sales terms.
• Utilize the Tridge platform to organize and maintain necessary information and documents for each deal throughout the trade process.

Preferred backgrounds:

 

• Educational background: BSc/MSc in agriculture, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fruit and vegetable sourcing, trade, and supply chain management.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in English and the local language.
• Strong trading skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with managerial capabilities.
• Networking aptitude, characterized as a 'people's business' type.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing quality inspection and logistics processes is a plus
• Familiarity with pre- and post-harvest technology.
• Resilient to stress, capable of handling imperfections in others, reflective, self-critical, solution-driven, and achievement-oriented.

 

Contract type: Independent Contractor (1 year) with the possibility of extension based on performance
