This position is responsible for generating revenue and meeting sales targets. You will be achieving this by hitting the phones, utilizing Tridge’s data and intelligent services and also your existing network. You will work closely with our Global Sourcing and Distribution teams around the world to help you with sourcing and selling the products. If you are motivated, results-driven, and love challenges, we would like to meet you.</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct market research on commodities you aim to sell</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Continuously strive to increase product range</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Procure new buyers and suppliers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build and nurture strong relations with buyers and suppliers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Negotiate price and terms with buyers and suppliers&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prepare quotations, contracts etc.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Realize sales growth and achieve targets of revenue and margin</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Continuously report to HQ on progress with tasks, sales results, market situation, etc.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>At least 3 years of trading (import/export and B2B sales) experience in frozen seafood/meat, dried fruits, or pulses sector</strong></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in cold calling, prospecting buyers and suppliers via phone / email</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with handling inland and sea logistics (familiar with shipping documents, incoterms, custom clearance, quality inspection, etc.)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Language proficiency: English (business level)&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Candidates MUST be a Canadian citizen or a Canada Permanent Resident</strong></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Must have a valid driving license</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Working at Tridge provides the following Extra Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Work from Home:</strong>&nbsp;You will be engaging directly with suppliers and buyers. In the final stage, our CEO will meet you to discuss how your vision aligns with that of Tridge’s, understand our goals and strategy, and get answers to all remaining questions. The result will be announced after the results of all your previous interviews are taken into consideration.
